doggy-door

This little mod looks interesting. Made from PVC, this doggy door simply keeps a dog out of the cockpit area of your van. It fits in the table mount and can swing open. Click through for another full size pic.

swing-arm

I just love these accessories for Vanagons. This van was for sale recently, and it features several GoWesty upgrades. The upgrade that caught my eye sits on the rear bumper. It’s a swing away arm tray and ladder. How else are you supposed to get up to that sky box? You can place a box on the tray for extra storage. Several retails sell these boxes, but check out GoWesty.com (here, and here). You can’t go wrong.

5th-wheel

What do you do if you have a Doka truck but you don’t want to put a camper on the bed? You create a Vanagon 5th wheel. There’s not much to say about this one except I can’t believe someone actually pulled this off. Click through for more pics.

big-red

I’m going to call this gorgeous high top camper, “Big Red.” It has a fantastic red paint job with semi side view mirrors and a South African grill. The interior is as good as the exterior. You have to click through to see the special loft for the baby.

austrian

There is a lot to admire about this VW high top camper. It was apparently purchased from the Austrian Army. It looks like it has a solar panel as well as some kind of rocket box on top. Extra gas cans hang off the side as well as a large driving light. The front bumper features extra protection for the grill, and it looks like a CB radio antenna mounted right in front. This van as a ton of character and I’d love to have it.

triple-side-window

Check out the three side windows on this Vanagon. I don’t know what they called this one, but it looks great. While the paint and body kit look like they came from the factory, the seats definitely don’t look stock. Does anyone have any information about these vans?

seventies

What can you say about this crazy Vanagon? It looks like a hot rod Chevy themed Vanagon from the seventies. The custom paint, odd windows, and chrome bumpers scream seventies Americana. What do you bet the interior is filled with shag carpet and hanging balls?
