turntable-ladder

This VW double cab track has a crazy ladder on its back. Is it a fire truck? I don’t think so. I wish I had more information on this one, but I can’t find anything beyond its description as a “VW T25 T3 double cab with turntable ladder. It’s definitely from the EU, but that’s all we know.

When I first saw this paint job it looked like The Joker from Batman. After further inspection, it could be called a Mick Jagger theme. Perhaps it is something in between. There isn’t much to this van beyond the paint job. The interior looks pretty tame. Click through to check it out.

allrad

I’m not sure what to call this one. It appears to be some kind of adventure camper, and at first glance it looks like it is sitting on a Syncro truck. Other pictures show it is not a Syncro however. The listing on eBay lists it as a “VW LT 45 Allrad.” So, perhaps it’s a Vanagon cousin. Click through to see what it really is.

custom-side-step

Check out this custom aluminum side step for Vanagons. It is listed on eBay UK for £149.00. The description lists it as “Deluxe Aluminium Side Step 4 VW T25 complete fitting kit needs drilling 1 hole.” It is strong enough for one person to stand on it so it is decently strong. They don’t have many left so if you’re interested, check it out.

berth-silver

This 1989 T25 Berth high top camper has been restored and was recently for sale. The exterior sports a nice silver paint job that even covers the top. It all seems to be in pretty good shape. This van has a 1.9 diesel engine that was recently rebuilt. Click through to see the custom interior.

floral

At first glance, this camper looks like it was just sprayed with primer. At closer inspection, it has a very detailed floral paint job. It is fitting that the van is sitting on a beach. I like the fact that they painted the pop top to match. The South African grill and new tires also add a nice touch.

superhigh

This early 1980s high top makes this van look like more like a mini RV than a Vanagon camper. I wish we had some internal shots, but we just have to admire it from the outside. It has driving lights mounted to the front and a side window. I’m sure this high top provides a lot of standing room in the van. Click through for another pic.

extended-table

This is a nice hack for those who want to extend the rear table. Anyone with any level of woodworking experience should be able to pull this off without a hassle. The end result is a longer table with two folding leaves. Not a bad result at all. Click through to see more.

rustic

This 1990 high top Vanagon is rustic, but has potential. Located in the UK, this van was recently for sale for £5,500. At first glance it looks like a beaten up old van, but it does have some nice hacks. It has a large storage box in the back, and a solar panel. It also looks to have a homemade awning. Click through to have a look inside.

italian-ice

This early 1980s air cooled Vanagon serves as an ice cream truck. No matter the age, these Vanagons make great food trucks. I just wish we had more of them in the States. All of them appear to be in Europe. This one appears to be from Belgium. All it needs now is a set of GoWesty wheels and it would look fantastic.
