Some people just take hacking the Vanagon to the extreme. Check out this monster Syncro expedition that is currently up for sale at the Samba. It’s a gorgeous load of Vanagon insanity. It comes with a high top and so many custom options it’s impossible to list them all. How much will it set you back? Oh, only $48,000. Click through to see the interior, plus the full list of features.
This Syncro Westy is packed with accessories. Is there an accessory she does not have? Look at the side mounted ladder and front bumper bull bar with driving lights. How about the roof mounted driving lights or the extra side view mirror? The front grill has an eyelid and the windshield has a sun visor. And, oh yeah, it has aftermarket wheels.
This is an interesting camper that was recently for sale. It’s a 1983 Transporter Multimobil unlike anything we’ve seen in the states. Surprisingly, it doesn’t have all that much room inside. It looks to be in decent shape although it could use a wheel upgrade. Someone did take the time to install Recaro seats in it. Click through for the interior pics.

This double cab VW truck is gorgeous, and it has a gorgeous wood bed to match. It also has dual chrome tipped exhaust, a new paint job, and nice spoke wheels. I want one!
This is a nice kitchen pod for a non-camper if you don’t mind giving up the pass through to the front seat. It looks very well made and perfect for someone looking to squeeze a lot into a small package.
I don’t have much to say about this pic besides whuuut? This looks like a fifth wheel hitch on a double cab Vanagon truck. It almost certainly operates as a car carrier. Awesome.
