2-fans

Two is always better than one right? Samba user vanagonforever was showing off his vinyl seats, but the his installation of two interior fans caught my eye. I have one of these fans that I can clip on just about anywhere (usually the rear view mirror), but two would definitely be better than one. Where do you mount your fan?

rugged-console

Here is a nice center console for your Vanagon by Rally. It has a rugged look, and can keep your food hot or cold. We have covered consoles before, but I’ve never seen this one. It is apparently available at Kmart for approximately $60.

What can you say about this T3 Doka? It is definitely unique. The worn black with orange highlights make it ready for the off road. It could almost be considered a “Vanagon Buggy.”

orange-is-the-new

This gorgeous orange Transporter has so many upgrades it’s hard to count them. The custom top, body kit, grill eyelid and wheels are just a few goodies to start. What about the custom side view mirrors? He has covered the rear windows and added some sort of vent to the sliding door. The clear turn signals and rain guards round out this orange beauty.

I just ran across this VW Doka double cab truck on the Twitter account of @DolphusRamseur
and it’s glorious! It looks like it has been completely restored as the paint looks fresh. Check out the South African grill and the black out wheels. If I owned this truck it would be my main ride.

adventure-van

This adventure van was used to travel across the world. The couple who owns this van apparently traveled across Africa, the US, and Canada. Seen here in Zion National Park, this heavily customized Vanagon Syncro is a dream for Vanagon enthusiasts. The most noticeable hack is obvious the large side window in the sliding door. We have seen this side window hack before, but never on the door.

This Vanagon appears to have some kind of round vent at the rear of the van. With its high top, custom roof racks, rear hatch racks and bumpers, this Syncro is ready for anything you can throw at it. I wish we could see some interior pics. Click through to see a large world map mural on the other side of the van.

homey

The quality of this picture isn’t very good, but I like the homey nature of this interior. The foot stool over the shag carpet make me feel like taking a nap in this van.

front-table-to-rear-cabinet-door

We received two submissions from Stevan Springer (noganav on The Samba) from his Vanagon. First up is the front table used as a rear cabinet door as shown in the picture above. I’ve seen rear cabinet doors before, but I’ve never seen someone cannibalize their front table to make the mod. I guess if you don’t need your front table you can make it work. The rear cabinet door is quite small and adding a larger door is desirable. Nice job! Click through to see his rear sliding window mod.

This 1984 VW T25 was recently for sale in the UK. She is a Subaru conversion with an interesting two tone purple and white paint job. If you look closely you can see they painted the wheels purple too. All they need now is a new set of wheels to spruce her up, even if they go with the GoWesty rims. It looks like she sold for £6,650.00.
