Someone took their time customizing this 1987 single cab pickup. Almost everything on this truck is custom, but the front grill mod is the most interesting. It looks like a standard South African grill, but the blue panel dips down into the grill for an interesting effect. This custom VW T3 is gorgeous with its custom body kit. What makes it especially nice is the missing front bumper. Is that even legal? Probably not, but it sure looks good. The custom wheels alone with a South African grill and painted eyebrow add a nice touch to this van. She looks brand new!

This is another beast of a Vanagon Syncro. This one is obviously european, and it is huge. The top is extremely high, and look at the size of those tires. This thing is ready of any off road experience. I love the large semi side view mirrors, and the roof racks on top of the extra high top. It looks like they’ve got a CB antenna up there too. Awesome van!

This door panel is from a normal looking Syncro. They probably created a custom door panel because the original panels become warped over time. All Vanagon owners have warped door panels. Although I’d rather have fabric on my door panels, this is a nice alternative.

This is your typical Syncro, except it has a very large eyebrow on the grill. It’s so large, they had to cut out a place for the emblem. In addition to the eyebrow, this black van has blacked out lenses, a sun visor, large bumper, and semi-truck side mirrors. Awesome!

This Vanagon owner has done a fantastic job on his camper. He calls her, Serenity. You have to check out his website to see all of the work he’s done, but just look at the paint job. I have a set of AMG wheels like that on a Mercedes and I’d love to know how he got it on the van. The last time we tried to mount custom wheels, the spacers presented to much of a hassle so we went with GoWesty’s wheels. Click through for another pic.

Check out the paint job on this Vanagon. It looks like a sunset scene on the African safari or something. All she needs is a little TLC, and some new wheels!

This turquoise VW T25 camper has been fully restored and it is beautiful. The interior could use a bit more love, but the exterior looks great. The antenna, of all things, caught my eye. I love how it angles up beside the window. My antenna definitely doesn’t look that slick. Click through for another pic.
