This is definitely not the first time we’ve seen a sun visor for the Vanagon, but I thought this van was interesting. The sun visor comes courtesy of a european company called BBT, and it is called an “Australian Sun Visor.” They offer various accessories for VW’s and the sun visor is one of their products. It gives the Vanagon a vintage look, but I’m not sure I’d have the guts to put one on my van.
This single cab Vanagon truck is mostly stock, but looks very clean. The South African grill is the obvious upgrade here, but the stock wheels make it feel original. This is an import that looks like it currently resides in Washington. I’d love to take this one out for a spin. Click through for another photo.
This 1989 T25 Westy was listed for sale online. Sadly, it sold. The top area above the cockpit caught my eye as it appears to be modified and it looks great! I have never seen a Vanagon Westy like this before. This one is apparently in London, but it is a left-hand driver so it was imported from somewhere. The paint is gorgeous, the wheels are hot, and the interior is clean. Click through to see more of this beauty.

This 1988 Wolfsburg Vanagon recently appeared for sale on Craigslist. Amazingly, the price was only $14,500. The van has had a Subaru Legacy EJ25 boxer four engine installed as well as a fresh coat of paint. I’m not a fan of the blackout wheels with silver, but otherwise this Vanagon looks great. This 1989 Vanagon Transporter Doka was seen for sale on eBay, but has since been sold. Imported from Germany, it has been completely redone and includes several hacks and mods. The original paint color was orange, but the owner decided to spray it black. The interior has been customized, and it even features a spoiler on the roof. You will notice after market side mirrors mounted very high, as well as clear/smoke turn signals. Late model Jetta wheels complete this custom Double Cab. Click through to see more pics.
If you’re looking for a vehicle to take you on a serious expedition, this is the Westy for you. This Gold Vanagon Syncro is ready for any expedition you can throw at it. You can hit the road, or off road, with its high top sleeping quarters, bumper-mounted winch, spare tires, extra large fog lights, and a whole lot of extras. Click through to see this monster up close.
Some people really know how to make a Vanagon rock! Check out this Vanagon double cab truck, complete with trailer. I know nothing about it other than it is to die for. I ran across this one on the Vanagon Junkies Facebook page of all places.
