Is this a Vanagon or a buggy? It’s probably both, but if so much of this van has been removed, can it still be considered a Vanagon? I love the cooler mounted above the engine. The rear tires are larger than the front tires, and it looks like they have customize the dash.
What happens when you outgrow your Vanagon and you need an extra sleeper? If you are creative like Samba user Karol81, you create a Vanagon camper trailer. This is some kind of modified single cab Vanagon work truck, but I have no idea what it is used for. It was listed along with this RV on eBay, but there is no description or indication what it is. Any guesses? Let me know in the comments.
We have seen several Vanagon food trucks around the world. From lunch wagons to mobile cafes, the Vanagon has been adapted to fit a variety of needs. This conversion is really extensive. The Volkswaffle is a first class Vanagon conversion that has a ton of equipment on board. I wish I knew who created this bad boy, but we will just have to admire it from the pictures.

People use Vanagons and Buses for all sorts of reasons, including food trucks. We have featured food trucks and lunch wagons in the past and here is another one. If you’re in the mood for crepes you can visit Delice Crepes in Haleiwa Hawaii. There are so many hacks on this bus that we won’t list them all. Instead, we will simply admire the view!
