electric-transporter

This VW Transporter has apparently gone through a conversion to an electric vehicle by EV4U Custom Conversions. I can’t get much more information because these guys have the most ridiculously moronic websites I’ve ever seen. However, I love the sliding storage on this van. They use it to hold 38 battery cells. Click through for another pic and video.

stretch2

I think we have seen this stretch Vanagon before, but this is a new pic from a different angle. The paint job looks the same, but they’ve added some custom wheels. This extended Vanagon has two sliding doors and lots of room. Making these extended stretch Vanagons is becoming a popular thing to do.

german-food-truck

This is a German food truck of some kind. I’m not exactly sure what they sold here, but it seems to be part bakery, part food. I love these custom Vanagon builds. It doesn’t really matter what the specific use is, people are pretty creative when custom building a Vanagon. Click through for more pics.

serenity

This Vanagon owner has done a fantastic job on his camper. He calls her, Serenity. You have to check out his website to see all of the work he’s done, but just look at the paint job. I have a set of AMG wheels like that on a Mercedes and I’d love to know how he got it on the van. The last time we tried to mount custom wheels, the spacers presented to much of a hassle so we went with GoWesty’s wheels. Click through for another pic.

vanagon-camper

Here is another Vanagon RV. This custom conversion makes the Westy look small. I love the round headlights from what appears to be a South African grill. With custom wheels, large side mirrors, a luggage area on top, and awning, this rig is ready for a weekend out by the lake. Let’s go!

Vanagon’s are so useful for so many things. We’ve seen food trucks, and ambulances, and fire trucks. This is a parts shop Vanagon and it looks slick. The back is obviously customized to fit their needs. Click through for more.

rear-bench

According to a post on The Samba, this interior was customized in Thailand. Apparently, someone imports basic transporters into the country, then they customize the interior. It is interesting to say the least. Click through to see more.

almost-cabriolet

I’m not sure what to call this van. Is it still a van? This has to be one of the most interesting conversions I’ve seen. It’s almost a cabriolet, but it still has a roof. Whoever did this sure has interesting taste, and the skills to pull this off.

allrad

I’m not sure what to call this one. It appears to be some kind of adventure camper, and at first glance it looks like it is sitting on a Syncro truck. Other pictures show it is not a Syncro however. The listing on eBay lists it as a “VW LT 45 Allrad.” So, perhaps it’s a Vanagon cousin. Click through to see what it really is.

berth-silver

This 1989 T25 Berth high top camper has been restored and was recently for sale. The exterior sports a nice silver paint job that even covers the top. It all seems to be in pretty good shape. This van has a 1.9 diesel engine that was recently rebuilt. Click through to see the custom interior.
