There is so much to love about this orange VW T25 high top. First of all, it looks like it has been dropped to a Carat height. It has painted bumpers and a body kit as well as two side windows. Check out the high top with the roof rack and sun roof too! The South African grill and clear turn signals add a nice touch to this van. The wheels are not the best, but they work. Does anyone have any information about this beauty? I’m jealous!
These stretch Vanagons are quite popular. We have featured several of them before, but this one is the first I’ve seen with a full high top. The only problem is it’s apparently at the beginning stages of the project, OR it was left for dead. It’s still nice to dream!

This is a very strange looking pop top camper for a VW Doka. It appears to have 2 port holes on the side of the camper. The caption over at the Samba reads, “VW T3 Doka Road Ranger Camping Aufbau TriStar Syncro Hardtop Alu Koffer Tischer.” The truck looks like it also includes a large roof rack and a sun visor. Click through for a picture of a similar model with the pop top down.
Check out this 1987 pop top camper by Autohomes. The top pops out very high to provides loads of space. This one was apparently for sale in Scotland and it looks great. The interior looks interesting as it’s not the standard Westy we’re used to in the states. The buddy seat can apparently face either forward or backwards. Click through for interior pics.
These stretch Vanagons are getting popular. We first saw the “Vanalong” Vanagon a few years ago and thought it was a fluke. Several others have created stretch Vanagons however, so it looks like making an extended Vanagon a popular thing to do. The caption on this van says it is a limo, but it doesn’t look like a limo to me. It looks like a stretch Vanagon nicely done.

What in the world is with this van? It has a high top with oversized doors that go into the top. Is it a camper? The black painted bumpers and custom wheels don’t suggest it is a camper. Perhaps it is used for something other than camping. Either way, it looks great. Nice hack!
I ran across this crazy shot on Flickr, and then I thought maybe it isn’t so crazy. If you could extend your van and turn it into a tank, wouldn’t you? Of course you would.
