syncro-switches

I love the switches in the cockpit of this Syncro. This bad boy is featured by CapCityVanagons.com and it’s a beauty. We will feature more of this van later, but right now I’m focused on the switches mounted on the right side of the dash. This is probably the best placement and installation of switches I’ve seen. By the way, the Vanagon is for sale for a cool $88k.

I ran across this interesting set of cup holders for the Vanagon. We chose to install cup holders from GoWesty on our dash, but this is an interesting take on it. I have no idea where to get these, but I’m just admiring someone else’s choice.

lime

How can a lime green interior be gorgeous? I don’t know, but it is. This T25 camper is another former sale that took place on eBay. It looks like the company customizes interiors and the photos were a sample of their work. The listing says it includes, “full kitchen cabinet, wardrobe, top box, table and wooden rock and roll bed combination unit for a T25 camper van.” Click through for more.

dyi

This is one of those DYI interiors that we can all admire. This one was apparently done on a dual door/twin slider T25. She has wood floors and a removable cooktop. I also like the round table. Click through for more.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Check out this custom upholstery on a Vanagon. Is this awesome or what? These pics come from the NorCal Upholstery’s Yelp page as well as Pinterest. Their website appears to be down so I can’t confirm, but this is awesome.

wood-panels

These wood door panels are on the same Vanagon we featured the other day. This owner loved lights and switches, and he apparently liked wood too. The entire entire is outfitted with wood, including the ceiling. Very interesting.

lights-galore

This 1990 Vanagon Carat was for sale recently and it has some interesting interior items. The previous owner apparently liked switches and lights because they are everywhere. The ad says most of them don’t work, but they do light up with the ignition. This Vanagon has a satellite on the roof and a kitchen, but it’s really the lights and switches that make it unique. Check it out.

step

This little hack is one that most Westy owners will appreciate. It comes from a Westy owner named Dan who keeps a list of his own mods and hacks. He created his own upper bunk step to get himself up to the top bunk. He took some square tubing and ground it down to fit in a round hole. Add a little carpet and gray paint, and you’ve got yourself a custom step. Not bad.

pergo-rug

Vanagon owners have so many choices when it comes to flooring. We have seen wood, vinyl, cork, and tile. This is a nice example of a pergo flooring install complimented by an area rug. It gives the van a homey feel doesn’t it?
