If you like Vanagons and travel you want to check out the Folksblogen blog. The couple who run the blog travel in a hot kiwi green vanagon and catalog their adventures online. The van used to be silver/gray, but they painted it and created a nice little travel van. Click through to see the interior.
There is a lot of unused space under the Vanagon, and Peace Vans wants to make use of it. Peace Vans is a shop with some of their own nifty mods, and the undermount PV battery tray is a nice once. They craft a tray that holds a house battery and/or a starting battery. The tray hinges down for easy access. This tray allows you to get the battery out of the interior of the van. Click through to check it out.
This is simply a nice shot of some re-upholstered front Vanagon seats I saw at livethevanlife.com. In addition to the new seats, this van also has new door panels. Very nice.
Check out this seemingly normal VW T3. The video is entitled, “Airride” and appears to be a hydraulic installation with airbags of some sort. I’d love to know more.

Some Vanagon owners have been hacking up their dashboards installing front A/C units. The Samba user nilza took things a step further when he hacked up his dash and included a reverse camera display. I can’t tell what else he has installed, but his fiberglass work looks great! Click through for more pics.
We’ve seen a lot of dropped VW Vanagons, but this may be the lowest drop yet. This thing has hydraulics to drop it so it can likely go back up when it wants to. Check out how low this thing can go. It looks like it’s touching the ground.
