I just love themed Vanagons. We’ve seen quite a few of them before, including a UK theme, JägerBus, and even several Mystery Machines. The theme of this Vanagon is Gulf Oil. It is otherwise normal and nothing special, but I love the theme.
I love this Vanagon flooring installation. The Samba user, trl_rnr, posted pictures of his living room floor. He said he used left over pine and stained it with 4 different colors. The character of this van is awesome now. It gives it such a rustic look. Click through for another pic.
Notice something about the hood over the cluster? This guy put leather in his cockpit, and it matches his steering wheel. These are made by a company called German Motorworks. Click through to watch a short video tour of this Vanagon cockpit. I’m jealous!
The Isotherm 40 Cube refrigerator makes a pretty nice replacement in a Westy. The Samba user, noganav, posted his installation and it’s worth a look. The depth fits perfectly, and you gain space above and below. Noganav made his installation look as stock as possible, and he even installed solar panels on the roof so the fridge doesn’t affect his battery. Not bad.
This 1989 red and black Doka is in great shape. This double cab sports diamond plated door panels that match the rear bed. If you look closely in the picture above, you can see the diamond plated foot step matches too. The theme of this truck is red and black with steel bumpers and running rods. It also sports semi side view mirrors. We’ve seen quite a few of those lately. Click through for more pics.
This gray Syncro has a lot of extras, but the roof rack is insane. They must be planning to carry a bunch of equipment up there. They have four driving lights up top, and check out the massive side view mirrors. This van also has an extended front bumper. All in all, this van looks great!
