pergo

We often feature rear flooring options for the Vanagon. We have seen wood, tile, carpet, rubber, and more. This Vanagon owner decided to install Pergo in the living room area. Pergo is quick, easy and durable and this Samba user reports it is holding up well.

windshield

Now why didn’t I think of this? How would you like a pop-out safari windshield on your Vanagon? I don’t know much about this one, but I ran across it on Flickr. It looks like he has a hydraulic strut that pushes the windshield out, but I can’t be sure. Check out the rest of the photos on this Flickr stream.

I also love the large tires!

double-side-window

I never get tired of these vans with the mega side window hack. This one, has large windows on both sides. The website says this van now sports a Ford V6 engine with a hacked cockpit. Click through to see more pics.

vanagonlife-console

This is a new locking steel center console by VanagonLife for your VW Vanagon. Some retailers sell lock boxes that go under the Vanagon seats, but this lockbox is also an elegant center console. You can purchase one from VanagonLife for about $550. All indications are the build quality is tops and the implementation is elegant. This thing looks tough.

baby-blue

The title pretty much says it all for this van. I found it on a site that sells single piece awning rails in the UK. I love the unique white high top, with which wheels and white bumpers. If you look closely, the interior is upholstered to match perfectly. Click through to see more about their awning rails.

batmobile

This VW T25 has apparently been on eBay a few times, and showed up at the British Volkswagen Festival at Malvern a few years ago. A user on the RetroRides forum posted these pictures of this odd looking VW. It strikes me as an attempt at a Vanagon meets Batmobile, but I’m sure that’s not what the owner intended. It would be interesting if it had a decent paint job and some wheels. Click through to see the back!

wood-cabinets2

We have featured a lot of custom interior cabinets by Vanagon owners all over the world. This set of custom cabinets are gorgeous, and the owner seems to make good use of it. Found on Daniel Young Skateboards, these cabinets make me seriously jealous. Are you up for a weekend of Vanagon living with this setup? Click through to see more and to see the Adventure Box.

What happens when you install an instrument cluster from a Passat in a Vanagon? Amazingly, it works! Check out the video above to see it in action.

Check out these custom made striped cabinets. I ran across this picture on Pinterest, but there is little known about them. The caption on Pinterest reads, “VW Camper T5 with lovely stripey interior cabinets seen at Bus Types VW Show 2014.” Whoever made these did a great job!
