Sorry for the boring title, but this is an interesting paint job. I can’t think of another way to describe it. The Samba user bluediamond1551 did this paint job in his garage for less than $300. He says he used oil base Rustoleum and a HVLP paint spray. How would you describe this paint job? Modern? Retro? Click through for another pic.

File this one under crazy paint jobs. We’ve seen a lot of crazy Vanagon paint jobs and this one definitely qualifies for the list. It’s a hippy peace van, yet it still looks good. I would love to see the interior of this van. If you zoom in close, it appears that the cab is walled off from the rear of the van. Interesting, but the paint job takes the cake.

If you have a spare $15,000, and like the color green, you missed your chance. This green Vanagon, and I mean GREEN, was for sale a couple of years ago for a cool $15,000. Now that we have the color out of the way, let’s look at what you get with this van. The interior is pretty standard, but in good shape. She’s got some major driving lights on the roof and front and rear bumpers. Add a roof bucket rack and you’re all set. Click through to see more pics.

This door kit for the VW T25 (Vanagon) looks pretty good. You can pick up each panel separately, or buy the whole kit for approximately $165. You can give your van a fresh interior with this kit from JustKampers.com. They are located in the UK, but it could be worth the extra shipping depending on the condition of your interior.

volts

Still looking for another place to add gauges in your Vanagon? How about right next to the stereo? I like the voltage meter right in front of the stick. All he needs how is another one for the auxiliary battery, or a switch that allows it to go back and forth from the main battery to the auxiliary.

The folks over at Texas Vanagons created this bench seat lock box. It looks like a perfect fit, but it was quite a process. Head on over to Texas Vanagons to see a very detailed walk through of how they created this. It’s perfect!

tshirt

Here is another custom made Vanagon t-shirt. These are currently being sold on Etsy and they’re getting good reviews. It’s definitely an item for the Vanagon nut.

1980 – 1985 Volkswagen Westfalia Campmobile Vanagon Logo T Shirt. The Volkswagen Westfalia Campmobile Vanagon is a classic and highly sought after van. This T Shirt is made for all the VW nuts out there who love this van. These shirts are hand screen printed on New Gildan 100% cotton T Shirts.

sideways

I’ve never been a fan of interiors where the cockpit is separated from the rest of the van, but this might be an exception. This interior looks gorgeous. I don’t know how you will get from front to back without going outside the van, but it’s still a nice idea. The custom cabinets add a touch of home and if you look at this pic long enough, you will discover lots of neat ideas for storage. Great job!

wine-rack

This custom interior actually has a door to the “cockpit” like an airplane. The wood countertop with sink and drawers is gorgeous. My favorite part of this interior however, is the wine rack. Can you see it? Gorgeous!

decal

If you like the stripes on the side of this van, you can check out this eBay listing in the UK. The company makes custom side stripe sticker decals for VW Vans. It takes a couple of days to custom make the decal and they have several colors to choose form.
