I’m always surprised at the level of creativity in the Vanagon community. Check out this company in the UK that does custom interiors. Giddycampers.co.uk does all kind of interiors, including “funky custom interiors.” Awesome! Click through to see more cabinets.
This van was painted by an artist named Kev Munday. He blogged about painting this mural for a client who chose the picture based on their use for the van – “escaping city life for the peace and quiet of the countryside.” Kev says he likes painting vans because they make a great canvas. Great job! Check out this website to hire him for your van.

What happens when you let your Vanagon camper go without a proper cleaning? You may end up with a moss garden up top. This guy has to be parked in a very damp area with lots of foliage around to end up like this.
Here is a nice iPad mount I ran across on The Samba. User, Abelabelabel, posted pictures of his red Vanagon and his iPad mount caught my eye. I don’t know who makes this mount, but it clips onto the dash with the ash tray removed. Looks like an easy solution for mounting the iPad on the dash. Click through for more.
This red Syncro truck was restored in Germany before being brought to the states. It was for sale earlier this year on eBay, and eventually sold for $14,000. The listing says it was completely restored, but the interior leaves a little to be desired. The paint and bumpers look great, and the black wheels look awesome. Click through to see the rest of this single cab truck.
The folks at alltogetheroutthere.com have redone the upholstery in their van, and it looks incredible. The fabric comes from none other than Sewfine, and it’s as good as new. Click through to see a video of how they did it.
