What in the world is with this van? It has a high top with oversized doors that go into the top. Is it a camper? The black painted bumpers and custom wheels don’t suggest it is a camper. Perhaps it is used for something other than camping. Either way, it looks great. Nice hack!
What is this guy preparing for? This Syncro camper has a serious addition to the front bumper. It looks like he is planning on clearing some forrest or something. He even has massive driving lights mounted on the front. Very cool!
This is the ultimate beach Vanagon with a gorgeous theme. What makes this one special is the Tiki Bar in the rear of the van. If you look closely you will see the bar. It also features a custom slide out drawer. Awesome. Add the wooding roof rack, side ladder, and bamboo interior and you’ve got yourself the ultimate beach vehicle. Is this one awesome or what?
There’s not much to say about this one. It’s obviously an A Team themed Vanagon. It has a nice red spoiler on the roof, and the stripe goes down over the window. Check out those wide wheels! Who wouldn’t want one of these bad boys?
This rusty old VW T25 is entitled “rat look” over at The Samba. It has a unique antique look to it, but what catches my eye is the front ladder. I don’t think I’ve seen a Vanagon with a ladder going up the front before. The ladder isn’t the only unique addition to this van. The eyelids over the headlights, body kit, rear port hold, and jalousie windows are a few more interesting hacks on “Aunt Fanny’s” van. She also has truck style side view mirrors, and look at that horn!
I ran across this crazy shot on Flickr, and then I thought maybe it isn’t so crazy. If you could extend your van and turn it into a tank, wouldn’t you? Of course you would.
Check out this Vanagon food truck. Retro Party Drinks is a company that offers its van for parties, weddings, or other gatherings in its early 1980’s conversion truck. Aside from the paint job and special rear cab, the truck has extra wide side mirrors to get around that extra large rear. The company serves classic cocktails, lemonade, punch, wine or champagne at your special event. Too bad someone hasn’t created one of these in the states. This one is in the Netherlands.
