keylime

Does it get any better than this key lime green T3? This one has so many nice touches, it’s hard to decide what its best feature is. It has nice wheels of course, and the whole thing is lowered. The spoiler on the roof adds a nice touch, as does the black plate with the VW logo on the rear bed. Removing the drop down sides in favor of a black railing also adds a unique look to this truck.

This Vanagon simply has the weirdest wheels I’ve ever seen. The description says these are Porsche wheels, but they just don’t match the Vanagon. I think they were from a Porsche 928 but they look weird on the Vanagon.

We have seen photoshop jobs of a fake triple cab Doka before, but this one looks very real. Check out this VW Truck conversion. It has a sun roof and spoiler on top, and awesome black wheels. Click through for another pic.

antique

This VW T3 Caravelle (Vanagon) has an interesting paint job. I can only describe it as “antiqued.” The paint job is reminiscent of a piece of outdoor furniture. This van looks like it has a small pop top, as well as a roof rack. It also comes with custom gold wheels to match. Awesome!

This 1987 high top Vanagon was for sale recently in Colorado, and it has something quite unique. Red cabinets! Have you ever seen a Vanagon with red cabinets? I haven’t. This custom high top is nothing special to look at on the outside, but the inside is quite unique.

I love this idea. Mr. O’Leary, a guy who does his own work on his T25 and blogs about it, has lined his mid-1980s van with carpet. It’s a bear of a job, but it ads such a unique look to the interior. Click through for a few more pics.

bespoke1

Coastline Campers specializes in the design and installation of custom bespoke interiors for VW Vanagons (T25s). The problem for those of us in the US is they are across the pond. We can still admire their work though. Check out this interior. Not bad!

custom-bumper

Check out this custom steel bumper on this otherwise stock Vanagon. This van, named Bertha, was for sale recently. The owner stripped the interior as he was going to convert it into a camper. The custom bumper gives an otherwise stock Vanagon a bit of strength. Check out the website for more pics.

white-cluster

We have seen several Vanagons with white faced gauges, but I have yet to see one with a nice VW logo in the middle. The white face on this van matches the exterior of the van, and provides a nice touch to the theme of blue and white. In addition to the white face cluster, this van has a painted dash that also matches the exterior. Click through for a few more pics.

floor-mats

How would you like floor mats that say “Vanagon” on them? The Samba user, svxcarat, posted this picture of custom Vanagon floor mats sitting on what looks like a GoWesty loop carpet mat. I have no idea where they sell these but I’d love a set.
